Pre-Natal Yoga with Patti

Join Patti for a sample class of her wonderful Pre-Natal Yoga offering.  Whether you are a seasoned yogi or this is your first time on the mat, are a first-time mama-to-be or pregnant with your third child, this series offers mamas-to-be a three-pronged approach to prepare for motherhood:

  • Physical exercise will help prepare the body for childbirth with hip opening, pelvic alignment, and strengthening the uterus and pelvic floor while alleviating discomforts that may accompany the transforming body
  • Community of mamas to share their joys and aches of being pregnant and discuss the ambiguity of labor, delivery, and motherhood. Class will open with a check-in to see where everyone is in their pregnancy and foster a time to ask questions and share concerns
  • Education for labor and delivery that includes breath work, developing the mental strength and confidence for childbirth whether it’s by cesarean, medicated or natural while easing the fear of the unknown
